Quoth + Cursor

Setup guide for connecting Quoth MCP server to Cursor IDE. Access your shared knowledge base and AI memory from Cursor.

Last updated: April 2026

Supported Features

  • Semantic search
  • Document retrieval
  • Knowledge base access
  • OAuth authentication

Setup

Cursor supports MCP servers natively. Add Quoth via Cursor settings:

  1. Open Cursor Settings → MCP Servers
  2. Add a new server:
    • Name: quoth
    • URL: https://quoth.triqual.dev/api/mcp
    • Transport: HTTP
  3. Authenticate when prompted via browser OAuth

Usage

Once connected, you can ask Cursor's AI to use Quoth tools directly:

  • "Search my Quoth knowledge base for testing patterns"
  • "Read the authentication documentation from Quoth"
  • "Propose an update to the API reference"

Notes

Cursor's MCP support may vary by version. Quoth works with any MCP-compatible client that supports HTTP transport and OAuth 2.0 authentication.
